Scirocco is warm with humid wind blowing from the south-east which accompanies our sunny Spring but especially our long, mild Autumns that stretch often close to the Christmas holidays… it blows powerful and relentless, crossing all the Ionian bringing with it the smell of the salt as well as echoes of ancient Greek and Saracen epic legends. The Scirocco is a comfortable holiday apartment that features a spacious living room with beautiful vaulted ceilings of the late 800s. The apartment is 36 square meters that is placed entirely on the ground floor and consists of an open-space (living room, dining room and bedroom, a kitchen equipped with all appliances and a bathroom with shower). Doors and windows overlook the garden, which is completely isolates from the noise of the city (although in itself is a quiet town on a human scale). The large garden, which is about 250 square meters, offers a variety of colours and perfumes from the beautiful roses to the lemon tree that, thanks to the presence of spring water in the subsurface and the privileged position (sheltered from the dry northern winds), have flowers and fruits in all seasons.
